This was definitely a different year and my mama was deeply missed at Christmas in Tennessee. Obviously there was a huge drop-off in the food quality. :) But her spirit really lived on in the people who attended. Everyone was in good spirits, got along, and it was just like she would have wanted it. In the start of a new tradition, I flew back to NYC on Christmas Day to be with Kevin. He greeted me with a wonderfully wrapped present covered in Christmas lights. It was sweet and romantic and amazing. We later took a walk over to see the Rockefeller Tree. He was working at Pieces so that's where I ended up later that night. Damon was able to join us which made it even better.
Today, the day after Christmas, also known as the 1st Day of Christmas, we watched some Engineering Disasters and the entire first season of Archer, which got better and better with each passing episode. We also ordered in Thai for dinner since we're having the first big blizzard of winter today which is still going strong as I type.
