Met up with Anthony at Social for drinks on Friday at 6pm. Greg met us there to join the fun. Anthony and I grabbed some food at Galaxy Diner then headed down to the West Village. Then let's see, we went to Monster, Marie's Crisis, Monster again (why?), Stonewall Inn and eventually Pieces. Kevin was working so there was incentive for the final stop. :) Had fun hanging and Aaron showed up later and he's always good for an interesting chat. Had sweet dreams that's for sure.
Woke up and was going to meet Anthony for a mini-breakfast before going to see Marlo, and who do I spot on the corner of 49th and 8th across the street from me? Lyle! Ugh. And with some toxic friends of his (ex-acquaintances of mine). Little do they know what they're dealing with but obviously this is a match made in toxic turmoil heaven. The great thing was that short sighting made me realize something - I have won. My life is great and I'm surrounded by goodness and light, and he's still dealing with the toxic and always will be. He has my children and that stinks but I get some satisfaction from knowing he's always going to be living the same life he's been living for years. I'm only sad for them as they deserve way better.
